Property Tax AppealsIf you own property in New Jersey, we may be able to assist you in lowering your property taxes. Due to the recent decline in real estate prices and how the tax assessor calculates your property taxes, you may now be paying too much in taxes. Even if the tax assessed value of your property is lower than its fair market value, you may still be paying too much in taxes because the calculation of your property taxes is more complicated than just comparing the tax assessed value against the fair market value of your property. We will conduct a free evaluation of your property taxes to determine if they are too high. In most cases, after you receive your Notice of Assessment from the Tax Assessor, your appeal must be received on or before April 1. For a free evaluation, please download and complete an intake form, and return the completed form to propertytax@norrielaw.com. Forms for DownloadExternal Links
